A. I think he just wanted to show how dishonest the children were being with the whole service and that it actually got to him and made him actually cry because he felt so bad for lying about seeing Jesus.

The experience I remember where I was pressured to do something is somewhat different. Usually people get pressured into things that are bad for them that they did not want to do but for me I was pressured into doing something good that actually had a good effect on me and I was glad I was pressured into doing the behavior. The behavior, as dumb as it sounds, was going ice skating. A group of people in my neighborhood were going and I really didn't want to go. One of my friends pressured me into coming though. He told me that if I didn't come it wouldn't be as much fun and that I would make it more fun just by being there. So I decided to go under the condition that I would just hang out but not skate. When we got to the rink my friend told me just to put on some skates just in case I later wanted to skate. It seemed like a harmless act so I did as he said. I ended up skating the entire time. I'm glad I did too! I had a really enjoyable time and without the pressuring of my friend I would've missed out on that good time. So unlike Hughes I was left feeling happy about being pressured into something that I initially did not want to do. Hughes was upset because he was pressured into lying about seeing Jesus and being saved. He sat and sat at the bench waiting for Jesus but he never saw him. So he lied and got up making everyone think that he had seen Jesus but in reality he didn't I didn't get pressured into doing something wrong like he did though. So that's probably why I came out happy was because I didn't lie or anything like that. I was simply pressured into doing something fun!
