It takes a while but yes broken trust can be restored. If someone breaks my trust I always need to have that person show that they
can be trusted before I can trust them again. I'm a firm believer in second chances so when a
person breaks my trust once I allow them to regain my trust but if they break it again I don't trust that person anymore. I think if a person has shown that they can't be trusted on more than one occasion then I have no reason to trust them with anything.
